I dunno. All I know is I'm now euphoric because I can pop bubbles anytime now. I think it's the popping sound. There's women who pop their gum, too, and I think it's a similar phenomenon. Never could get into the gum chewing thingy myself, though. On an even grosser side, zit popping gives people a similar effect as the bubble wrap and gum popping.
