Don't worry about protien man, have you ever had a biology class? The human body synthesises it's own protien from it's constituents(amino acids). Bannana's I think have every amino acid necessary to make any human protien. Now meat has protien that has to be broken down first into amino acids and reasembled in the body, that is an extra step. Take a lego building contest for example: both contestants have to build an Eiffel tower model out of f***ing Legos, but contestant one had to completely disassemble a WTC model first to get the building blocks while contestant two has all the Legos already disassemled. Who is going to win? Which contestant uses more energy? Think about entropy and aging. The same thing can be said about fats. The body makes fat from fatty acids which are found in fruit. If you sit on your ass and watch TV you probably will get fat from too much avacado, papaya, bannana, coconut.... but should be safe with the citrus fruits. So if someone trys to pressure you into eating meat by saying shit like "you need protien" or "you need fat" they are using very misleading, though somewhat correct, statements. What is more precise is that "you need amino acids to make protien" and "you need fatty acids to make fat". Both of which can be found in fruit. Don't worry about just eating fruit, you will get everything you need and more. Fruitarian bodybuilders usually eat avacadoes (GB).
