I had EC for the past 4 months and have tried all sorts of things.
The next 2 weeks i will be trying the following:
1) Follow a Traditional Chinese Medicine regime
2) Take out Mercury fillings
3) COntinue on nutritional diet
I live in sunny city of Singapore. Too bad my mood is not sunny this period. My dreams have been shattered. My dreams of working in my favourite American FMCG co is shattered....

This is a reply to # 1,022,839Hi there :) I have EC too, Ive had it for a long time. I really dont care about it or let it run any part of my life. Why you ask?.. Because I manage it with natural products so it is never very bad and I can do what ever I want to :)
Tell me why your dreams are shattered because of EC? Why is EC preventing you from doing what you want?
I see that your Icon is a spiritual man. Coincidence or not ,You may be interested in a book called "The Power of Now" By Eckhart Tolle. This book has helped me immensely and I can not recommend it enough if you are depressed and suicidal. It will help you understand why you feel this way :)

This is a reply to # 1,023,471I use parafin and so far, its doing quite fine. But im afraid EC is spreading.
Does EC spread to other parts of the face?
My friend said that EC should not be a skin disorder because if it is, it should happen much earlier and not now. He also said that if its spreading, means it most probably should be an infection. If it is genetic triggered, then it should not spread.
My EC is quite bad because once i dont apply parafin, it will peel by layer. Currently my lips look a bit swollen. I try not to worry.....may God bless us.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,023,942I have been under tremendous stress for the past few months.
Have seen countless derms, doctors and going to see the 3rd TCM doctor this Sunday.
Its only when i been through this then i can truly miss the times when my lips were
truly luscious, smooth and not peeling a single flake (that was half a year ago).
My lips now is like a corpse, peeling and peeling. It just doesnt seem to stop. And the frustrating thing is, we dont even know what is the exact root cause!
One derm told me it may be some gene triggering that is being turned on. Another 2 told me its just some allergies and its a small issue.....
oh God....lets pray....keep on praying.....i really hope spring will come after winter.

This is a reply to # 1,027,585My condition has spread to the face and my derm call it eczema.
Its quite sad to have EC and now i have eczema. My EC is now under control with steroids. For my eczema, i try not to think about it. I will use my moisturizer....
I have never have this condition in my life before....life took a turn half a year ago. I will try to remain optimistic.
