I wasn't sure where to post this but I had an upsetting experience, yesterday, and I was wondering if any one has experienced this.
My first mistake was to go to Walmart, I convinced myself that I could get all the things I needed in "one stop" which was wrong. I haven't been there in many months and had forgotten that they don't carry many of the food staples that my family requires. So maybe the environment there just played tricks on my mind, I usually feel physically ill when I'm there, which is a big reason for rarely going. But I started thnking that many of the people looked like zombies! At first I kind of thought it was funny, like at the beginning of the movie Shawn of the Dead. But then I started seeing many like this and I was horrified rather than amused. It is difficult for me to describe but it's like seeing dead people walking around,(the ones that haven't lost the use of their decaying limbs yet and require scooters to propel them throught the store) but they don't know they are dead. They look lost and confused. They lean on there carts, squinting down the isle searching for something but they don't even know anymore what they are looking for. I realized that there was nothing there that I was looking for and checked out with the few items I had.
So, has anybody else seen these walking dead? If so, any advice on what to do when encountering them? I found negative and judgmental thoughts building inside myself, and that made me feel worse. I tried to pull up loving and positve thoughts and project them as much as I could. But by the time I walked out I not only felt nauseated, but also light headed and my hands and feet started feeling numb, with the numbness creeping up my limbs. It occurred to me that the numbness was a result of me hyperventalating because I had allowed myself to get so upset.
??????????????????????????????????????
Also, I told myself that there is NEVER any good reason to go to walmart. Sometimes I guess I get walmart amnesia.
Thanks
