Do you take HCL and enzymes before, during or after meals? I usually take 1500mg HCL and two enzymes during meals but im told that im doing it incorrectly and Im only getting little out of it. Im still seeing good results but I was told that im not getting the full benefit.
Also, is it best to take liquid HCL than capsules? Right now, im taking HCL pills but I might try HCL liquid form since liquiod absorbs in the bloodstream faster!!
Jake1111 suggested on crushing the HCL into powder form and using a glass and pressing down on the pills and put one ounce of water in a glass and put the powder in it. and during meals drink solution.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,020,727When I took HCL it was in capsule form during meals. I would be wary of taking liquid HCL as it could conceivably cause damage on the way down to the stomach. I see a kinesiologist and he was able to use muscle testing to determine how many capsules I needed (or that my body was craving). i was making very little HCL because of a pituitary problem. He was able to fix that through homeopathics so I no longer take them. If you think you aren't making enough HCL then take one pill at one meal, and then add a pill a day until you can feel discomfort - this means you have too much. Lower the dosage until it goes away.

I recently read you want to swallow tablet intact as crushing a HCL tablet can be very hard on teeth enamal. It is a powerful acid. I wonder how the liquid HCL works to bypass digesting the teeth enamel...
