I started oilpulling this week with 4 drops of iodine. The oil is still white when I spit it out, so I know I'm absorbing it. I just haven't noticed any Kodak moments yet related to it. I know it's probably working somewhere, doing some good. I also have taken more Iodine internally yesterday and today and I definitely noticed improvements. But With oil pulling the effect always seems more subtle unless I add peppermint oil. Then va va voom. Has anyone noticed any effects from oil pulling with Iodine in your oil and if so how many drops? Thanks.

This is a reply to # 1,009,612I did this with Casey's Iodine trying to stave off a cold. It didn't stop the cold and my teeth were very sensitve.

This is a reply to # 1,009,612I haven't tried pulling with Iodine since I only started with it very recently, but I have used a product called ipsab for years and it has Iodine in it. It works really well. Before I started pulling I had some difficulties with gum disease and if I used the ipsab it would clear it right up - also ended any pain from a toothache - I just recently noticed that it has Iodine - I was more focused on the prickly ash bark which is the other ingredient.

there ar a bunch more if you google ipsab. The good one is in the small bottle - they have a mouthwash but I think it is very diluted and not worth the trouble.
It's Iodine called Iodine trichloride or something like that - I don't have a clue what kind that is - I have not heard of that form of it otherwise. But I do know that the stuff works amazingly well. - Re: ipsab wombat

I was reading your post regarding IPSAB containing iodine. I have the tooth powder. The ingredients that are in the tooth powder are a combination of pure salt, baking soda, and prickly ash bark that is flavored with peppermint oil.
I was wondering if what you are using is the gum treatment? I am thinking that it is a liquid.

The only side effect: staying up all night.

This is a reply to # 1,010,324I think it's because the body is utilizing it for a few hours after we take it quite well. So it can stir things up trying to get different areas back in balance, and we notice it more cause we are trying to sleep. That's just my humble opinion. Thanks all, for responding to the post.
