I started oilpulling and saw how this helped me. Then I read a post from Trapper saying the 2 things he found most effective for his health was Iodine and oilpulling, so I started iodine. I tried it for a while but the headache I got was horrible. So I stopped after a couple of weeks. But I noticed the benefits at that point and decided to start again about a month ago with 12.5 mg. The reason I came back to it is because even in the short period of time I took it I noticed--I could tolerate foods that used to bother me before--my energy started picking up---I could spend all day on the computer if I wanted when prior my eyes bothered me too much to be on the computer for 1/2 hr. My skin took on better coloring and had a nice glow to it, so I knew I had to get back to the iodine. I am one who needs to take it slow though because when I do too much, I get real sore in upper chest. It feels like it's deep in my sternum, and it sometimes bothers me to take a deep breath, but I think this too shall pass, as the headache passed after it's cleaned out the area.
