What is the "Vitamin C Challenge"?
[Answer This Question] [Ask New Question]
It's easy (and cheap!) by No Unicorns 14 year 1 of 2 (50%)
It's a basic test to see how your body does metabolizing generic, in cheap Vitamin C in the ascorbic acid form, to see if you can take the more powerful C's (like LipoNano, Quantam, etc.)
It is a weeklong test: the times to consume the C are breakfast and lunch.
Day 1 - 500 mg / 500 mg
Day 2 - 500 mg / 1000 mg
Day 3 - 1000 mg / 1500 mg
Day 4 - 1500 mg / 2000 mg
Day 5 - 2000 mg / 2500 mg
Day 6 - 2500 mg / 2500 mg
Day 7 - 3000 mg / 3000 mg
** Indicators that you're looking for are loose stools, if you feel MARKEDLY better than you have been, or MARKEDLY worse. Also, if you find the Vit. C too stimulating...keep all these notes in a journal.

Use Natural Vit C rather than flora depleting Ascorbic Acid by Growing Gratitude 14 year 0 of 1 (0%)
Over the past few years I have been trying to unsuccessfully treat myself within a tiny budget. I have tried ascorbid acid from Trader Joes and found I got really irritable on it. After doing some research I learned that synthetic ascobic acid kills the friendly bacteria in the gut. This is bad news as we into health are working so hard to cultivate a healthy gut population. So look for natural forms of Vit C especially if you are doing high doses.
