My kids have white spots on their faces. I read somewhere to put Selsun Blue on the spots, but it's not helping much. My doctor says there's nothing I can do about it. What gives?

Sounds like tinea versicolor. I've tried selson blue with success. It is caused by a fungus. There are many treatments out there as well. An internet search should turn up some things you can try.
