Table salt is a completely different product to natural unrefined Sea Salt . So yes it is important to use a salt that has not been striped of all its minerals and also one that doesn't have Iodine added. In fact this is the kind of salt you should use for everything even when not on the cleanse ...refined table salt that you get from the supermarket is worthless nutritionally.
