Can I recover 100 percent from adrenal fatigue?

I had adult onset adrenal fatigue and low level Hashimoto's syndrome with all the typical symptoms. Both conditions were also verified by a lab with blood and saliva work (for the adrenal fatigue it was the 4 saliva samples over 12 hours assay, which I did several times in a 3 year period). I spent hundreds of hours researching my symptoms over 3 - 4 years, which led me up some fairy paths, and taking all sorts of supplements, including adrenal glandulars. I won't go into the details of absolutely everything I tried (it is ridiculously long, and cost me thousands of dollars).
One day I finally asked myself a few questions. Firstly, what is cortisol's main function? I already knew it was to reduce inflammation. So then I asked, why do I have so much inflammation? The obvious first culprit (and after much experience with this, the only culprit) is inflammatory foods! So I changed my exhaustive research tact to finding out what foods caused inflammation. This led me to Ray Peat's website, which led to me finally healing my body.
Ray explains the inflammatory nature of vege oils (such as those made from seeds and soybeans), the healing benefits of palm and coconut oils and other saturated fats, anti-inflammatory aminos in gelatin, and the problem of too much omega 6. I stopped consuming vege oils apart from olive, palm, and coconut. I stopped eating nuts except for a true nut, raw macadamia. I cut back on avocado due to high levels of omega 6. I started taking a heaped teaspoon of gelatin a day (I don't take it any more, though I do eat bone marrow occasionally in osso bucco, and am not averse to animal parts). I had already taken gluten out of my diet a couple of years earlier, which cured the liquid diahrea and part of the fatigue, but did not clear all the other symptoms.
Anyway, to cut to the chase, following an anti-inflammatory diet cleared up my symptoms, including an odd one, a puffy eyelid, in a matter of a few short weeks, after having these symptoms for years.
I realised last year that it probably all started with heavy use of NSAID drugs for a herniated disk about 20 years ago. My puffy eyelid started then and never fully went away. All the other symptoms, weird feeling around my thyroid, gluten intolerance, crushing fatigue, random arthritic pains that would move to different parts of my body and linger for weeks to months, etc, started just a few years ago.
My father and siblings all developed gluten intolerance within the same 10 year period (late nineties to early naughties). Our gluten symptoms are all different to each other, but all cleared up by removing the gluten. This makes me think that the genetic tinkering with crops got worse around then. Interestingly, I've been informed that the incidence of Celiac disease increased dramatically after extensive genetic modification of crops began in the 70s.
Go organic, go natural, and you will feel amazing and not need meds or a doctor. Sorry, vegans and vegetarians, but as an ex veg of 12 years, I know there are not many good food sources on such a diet, and many of the meat alternatives are inflammatory or toxic (eg, soy protein). You might feel good about it ethically (and this is my dilemma), but after a few years, you will start to feel like crap, physically. In the least, eat organic, free range eggs and get off the nuts and vege oils.
I still eat too much chocolate (which I am planning to taper off), but apart from a temporary low if I eat way too much, there is not the crushing fatigue that a body trying to fight inflammation produces.
Go organic! Get off processed foods! Especially, get off those inflammatory foods! You will feel amazing!

Dr. James Wilson, the other expert on AF, notes that he completely cured a woman who had AF for 20 years, and another lady who was 78 and was born with weak adrenals.
Wilson has written the only book so far on adrenal fatigue, using over 2,400 sources. Wilson's recommendations in the book are very, very similar to Lam's, however Wilson likes to use glandulars to treat his patients.
