Gluten Free Diet Cures KP by #180031 10 year
Oh! I forgot to mention that I had tried a lot of prescription creams and none of them worked. Only made it worse. But I really think that no gluten can help eliminate KP, as well as some really good moisturizers. Heel creams work well.

Gluten Free Diet Cures KP by #180031 10 year
Hi. So I have had KPRF on my face and regular KP on my body for as long as I can remember. It was reeeally bad. So many people would comment on it, and it was embarrassing. I wore makeup on my face, but really, like someone said on here, it only hides the symptom, not cures the thing. Anyways, my mom and I did some research and learned that KP is connected to gluten intolerance. Since I had all the symptoms of being gluten intolerant anyways, I decided to go on a gluten free diet. This is my fifth day not eating gluten, and I'm not gonna lie-it's hard to avoid gluten. Around the second day of not eating gluten I honestly felt like crap. I guess my body just had to get used to the diet. Right now, I feel amazing. And my face looked amazing. I could tell that not eating gluten was definitely helping. My face was less red, flared up less often, almost never, and I was so happy I'm sure that the longer I go without gluten, the better my skin will get. This tactic also worked for my cousin, she had KP, went on a gluten free diet, and it went away. Today I ate something with gluten in it, and about two hours later, or now, my cheeks and ears are hot and beet red.
So. Try going on a gluten free diet. It works for me.

What is your vitamin D level? by Iolite 15 year
Have you had your vitamin D levels tested??? A cream containing vitamin D is on the market for psoriasis. If your levels of vitamin D are low, I would work on getting them optimal.

Before anyone answers, I'd like you all to know I only believe in treating the cause, not the symptom. Which means I want to get to the root of WHY I have this condition, and cure it, not just putting on some creams and such. I also have Psoriasis that I'd like to get rid of as well, Keratosis Pilaris all over my body, Rubra Faceii (red/inflamed face), cracked/damaged skin, tiny little bumps all over face (this is Keratosis Pilaris), and mild blackheads on my nose.
