Water and salt are naturally found in the body. Besides, the salt bath is a good way to maximize the benifits of the fast by flushing out the digestive system. Just be very careful, Water Fasting is very intense and can make you very sick and weak so take care and don't stand too quickly or overexert yourself until you get a sense for the water fast. You may even want to keep the lemonade or at least the maple syrup on hand just in case of intense symptoms. Either one of these items can help slow the intensity down immediately if it becomes too much.

No Salt water flushes by tfola 4 year 2 of 7 (28%)
Using salt water flushes will only add more sodium to your body which will leave you bloated. This is more water weight which you are trying to reduce as a result of your water fasting, so using salt water will only cause edema

Enema is considered a better way to keep bowel clean by #7 7 year 2 of 7 (28%)
Clean water enema is considered a far better way to keep bowel clean during a Water Fast than a salt water flush.
Actually, many fasting experts suggest daily water enemas during the first 14 days of a water fast.
It helps prevent many negative symptoms and hunger during a water fast.
