Day # 3: Embarassing question: Does anyone out there notice burning around the anus. maybe realted to cayenne? How can I help this and get some relief?

Yes and Ian Glickman mentions this. He likens it to acid that is coming out, so it's hotter. If you are near a CVS or drug store, go to the section with lotion and look for a product called "bag balm." It's in a green tin box. There's a picture of it here:

It looks like vasoline, but it's got hydroxyquinoline and lanolin in it. It's used for tendernes associated with cow's udders, but it has a history for other medical uses. I used it on my legs when I slipped rock-climbing and shredded my legs. I kept it on my legs and it kept the skin soft and kept it from healing in to a scar. The only scar I had was wear my knee bent (couldn't avoid that, my knee bent right where the scrape was). Anyway you can use it as an ointment for diaper rash and I used it today for the same reason you did. It was hot down around there and bag balm relieves it right away. It's not discomfitting as vasoline.
Give that a try and you'll swear by it. It's also safe for kids, pets, etc.
