need to add this thought about phlegm   by Magnet Therapy   10 year

sorry the website would not let me edit and add a couple of thoughts

Consider Phelgm as an early warning sign that the body is trying to fend off, clean and repair, learn to respect phlegm as a tool for good health

It is a lot easier to operate and repair your body while the body is whispering problems - rather than an all out scream for help - which was where I ended up before recovering - very long road ...

40 years of dealing with phlegm   by Magnet Therapy   10 year 0 of 1 (0%)

I was this baby and was so until around the age of 50.

These days with all the food additives , toxins and overall quality of we are supplied to eat from the store.

I would like to suggest that perhaps you might be thinking - how to reduce or eliminate the phlegm by change of diet.

the 4 big ones right now to avoid are:

1) Wheat
2) Soy
3) Dairy
4) Excitotoxins

and the best water you can get.

my life changed when I gave up the above and I lost over 40 pounds in 2 months - mostly edema

make your own baby food?

If I learned anything, if I have phlegm then I ate something that did not agree with my body and my body is trying to rid or clean itself.

Phlegm, cough, flu, cold, baby   by FocusOnHealth   10 year 0 of 1 (0%)

Q: How do you get PHLEGM out of a baby naturally?

COUGH: One of the most natural things you can do is to allow and encourage your baby to cough. Here we're assuming that it is a productive cough. And if it's indeed a productive cough, then you will get ALL the phlegm out of the baby naturally.

COUGH MEDICINE: Avoid the use of cough medicine A) because it's medicated, therefore not natural. And B) because the use of too much cough medicine can and will likely causes even more c o u g h i n g.

FLUIDS: Give the baby more fluids. If there is a lack of fluids, there will be coughing. And oftentimes it will be a n o n - p r o d u c t i v e cough.

GARGLING: If the baby is old enough, encourage him/her to gargle with a little SALT WATER.

PILLOW: Sometimes all the baby needs is a bit larger pillow.
Because, with a small pillow, an unproductive cough may develop, even when the baby doesn't have the cold,

REST: Give the baby plenty of rest. Because the phlegm is usually a symptom of a cold, or flu, or infection. And it takes energy to fight an infection.

ADDITIONAL remedies: Depending on the baby's age, additional remedies could be or should be tried, including the use of honey, nose blowing, saline drops, steamy air, vapor rubs... and warm liquids, such as chicken soup.
