How Do You Know If The Chemicals To Buy Are Safe? Is There A Certain Grade Ie. Industrial, Food, OR Other That Are Better For Human Use. And Where TO Buy?
[Answer This Question] [Ask New Question]
Hello, this is a great question. This ingredient may be a tremendous one with regards to healing the body, and preventing pathological states. However there are many people who are selling sodium chlorite that could potentially be harmful.
This is a problem across the board. Some so-called entrepreneur reads about an ingredient that could potentially be very useful in treating pathologies of all kinds, runs out and buys whatever is available without knowing anything about the raw material, and what 'grades' are available. A lot of Chinese material (for example) that is imported into the United States does not meet USP standards. This being the case, much of what is being sold by those who know nothing about raw materials could potentially do more harm, not only to the individual, but they could ruin the market for an ingredient that could be the cure for many diseases. These People are only providing the FDA the ammunition that they need to take an absolutely amazing product off the market, all of this due to ignorance.
There may be some altruistic people out there that really want to do good, but they are not doing anyone any favors if they try to sell something they know nothing about. So to answer your question yes, there are different grades of sodium chlorite that are available. The primary ones are...there is an industrial grade, there is a technical grade and lastly a USP grade. The first two are not for human consumption.
If you know someone who is selling this ingredient and they cannot provide you with an independent laboratory assay, DO NOT BUY THE PRODUCT. They need to show you that the product is what they claim, and that it does not contain excipients, heavy metals or lye, all of which can be found in ingredients like this.
The bottom line is, know what you're buying before you buy it! Don't let the uninformed and greedy ruin it for everybody.
