prevention of gallstones....   by herbalnutritionistcmt   15 year 1 of 1 (100%)

my univ. text on anatomy and physioogy mentions that Gallstones are caused by cholesterol. Animal food contains chol. eggs and shrimp have the most and chiken and beef have almost the same amount of chol. Fish are about half the amount of chol. of beef and chicken. In addition, i believe that hydrogenated oils contribute to Gallstones also/I would suggest not eating chol. containing foods.

Beets help prevent gallstones?   by fledgling   19 year 1 of 1 (100%)

I came across an article posted by another CureZoner which suggests that beets thin bile thickened by 'lifestyle choices' (poor diet?), and other habits.

Here is where I ask for feedback on my idea of eating a little beetroot every day...

We all know the apparent benefits of a moderate amount of beets on the digestive system. There seem to be no ill effects...unless it is that some little kids don't like them. (Perhaps their bile is already thin enough!)

See what you think.

My best,

fledgling

Maybe it was mayo, margarine, and junk oils?   by fledgling   19 year 1 of 1 (100%)

Just guessing, of course, but I ate those for, at least, thirty-five years, before I began to change my intake to (I think) better choices.

Then, also of course, there is a whole learning process to the cleansing procedure, and to preventing Gallstones in the future.
