Raw Food Diet For Diabetes   by meetmaria   18 year

Raw Food Diet For Diabetes:

* Raw onions and garlic have been long favorite anti-diabetic drugs in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

* The vegetable bitter gourd and the herb ginseng have been widely used for treating diabetes since the ancient time in India and China.

* Unripe bananas, cooked as a vegetable, are considered especially valuable in this disease.

* Tomato with its low carbohydrates contents is very good food for diabetic patients and for those who want to reduce their body weight. It is said to be very effective in controlling the percentage of Sugar in the urine of diabetic patients.

I am suffering from diabetes type II from the last two years and has been sugested all the above raw food. I have also gone through some diabetes educational websites like http://www.diabetesmellitus-information.com and http://www.fda.gov/diabetes/. Hope they will work for you.
