What is the correct way to end a fast? (also known as "refeeding")

Correct refeeding after the fast is more important than the fast itself. It is dangerous and unhealthy to break your fast with fried food or meat or chocolate!
You need to refeed for *at least* the same number of days that you have fasted for: so, if you fasted for 14 days, you need to carefully refeed for at least 14 days. So when planning your fast, you need to plan for refeeding time as well.
Ideally, you should drink fresh seasonal fruit for the first few days (most hygienists recommend fresh orange juice) - or you may decide to break it with fresh juicy fruit. You should 'chew' your juice or fruit slowly. Concentrated foods, such as as nuts, grains etc should be introduced slowly.
Here is a great link, all about when - and how - to break your fast:

This is also a great reference site for fasting and natural hygiene information.
