Is the feeling of creepy crawlies in legs and the need to stretch them or walk around to aleviate the problem a symptom of RLS?

Is this Restless Legs Syndrome? by #132289 14 year
I have had RLS since I was 25 and I am now 60. Your symptoms sound like you might have RLS. I have to take LYRICA for mine and it helps me tremendously. My Grandmother also suffered with RLS I guess I inherited it from her.

Restless legs and eating chicken by bricklayer 18 year
The chicken eating will be something I shall check out with my body. I use Pantothenic acid to help digest my food. If I forget and my legs start acting up I take 2 500 mg of Pantothenic acid and within 20 minutes I am at rest. I hope this works for others like it has for me.

How I 'cured' RLS by tomi444 18 year
Dear fellow sufferers,
I have posed the question of RLS but unable to quantify what I experience as RLS.
Once I used to get a feeling as if many crawling insects were in my legs,
The feeling was at times running through my body. If that is RLS then I found a way round the problem.
When the problem first started I was suffering high blood pressure. 7 years later I had a heart attack, since then I have tried to find ways to stop me having another one. Whilst this was happening I was getting these sensations in my legs on a regular basis.
I used a BP monitor to find what made my BP go up. One particular food (chicken)
Had dire effects on me, my BP always went up, I noticed that I was easily angered,
And suffering what I think was RLS, it was very aggravating.
I stopped eating chicken (the white meat that I must eat) according to my GP, the
British heart foundation pamphlets, the American heart association etc.
Almost immediately, my BP dropped, anger subsided (I laugh a lot now!), and the feelings that I got in my legs, that use to make me leap out of my bed, (which I believe was RLS) ceased immediately!
I don’t know why chicken had this effect on me, perhaps it was the chemicals that are added to their feed, I really don’t know.
I do know this though, that all the problems I once suffered have gone.
I fear to try chicken anymore because I fear the consequences.
