After 20 yrs of being on the 'pill' I'm looking for an alternative birth control as I really think that I'm pre menopausal & want to be able to check out if my periods have actually stopped (I'm 35 yrs old, have no children & really don't want any) Any advice very appreciated :-) 15 year 0 answ.

I just recently had my mirena iud removed on January 28, 2010 since it been in there for almost 5 years. (September 2010 will be 5 years to date)I started bleeding that same evening and it lasted until Feburary 2. I had unprotected intercourse on Feburary 2nd, 3rd, and 4th each time in which ejaculation happened each time. Now, I haven't spotted/bleed yet, but my breast is feeling heavier and they are itching around the nipples and Im eating like crazy. I feel nausea but no vomiting. What could this mean? 14 year 0 answ.
