In 1998, I have heard this author speak on the subject of cancer and how she beat what seemed like insurmountable odds in her fight to get well. It was not an overnight, get well quick scheme; it was a major lifestyle change. I had goosebumps when I heard her speak. She was the Chief Orthopedic Surgeon at a college in San Francisco, and she has an impressive set of credentials. I have skimmed this book, and it looks as if it is informative so far. Dr. Day has a website devoted to alternative medicine and cancer treatments.
