DAY 4: I'm hopeful
It may be uncomfortable and awkward, but I'm going to try my best to stick with it.
Date: 8/21/2007 10:00:41 AM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 1679 times 8:00 AM I just woke up and my stomach is rumbling. I'm waiting for the tea to do it's work.
Last night, I started feeling a whole lot better. Yesterday, I was pretty out of it for several hours. But later on in the day, I had a lot more energy. This is good.
I'm determined to stick with it for seven days total. I have to leave town on Sunday to go to a week-long festival in the rural desert, where we can only survive on what we bring with us...so after talking to a few friends who had done the cleanse, I took their advice and I'm going to cut this cleanse short by 3 days.
So, this Friday is my last day. Saturday I will start with the Orange Juice and Sunday I'll try to have some fruit and orange juice. After the long, drawn out misery of yesterday, I feel I've "gotten over the hump" and can feel/see great results that are making me feel light, proud, and clear. I'm also learning a lot about my attachments, which is really why I decided to do this in the first place.
4pm:
I'm feeling great today. I did the salt cleanse a different way this morning, at a friend's suggestion. I'm not going to say that this is a "tried and true" method, but it totally worked for me.
Here's what I did:
1. Put 2 Teaspoons of Sea Salt into a really small glass (a large shot glass) and fill the rest with lukewarm water.
2. Drink it real fast
3. Drink the rest of the 32 oz right away.
It's so much easier and it totally worked.
I'm feeling very clear and happy. My coworker lit up a cigarette in front of me and it smelled SO disgusting. Normally I can handle it, and sometimes I ask to bum a cigarette. This time I was absolutely REPULSED.
