Days 9, 10, 11
I've been remiss in posting
Date: 5/16/2007 7:07:34 PM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 2603 times I've been remiss in posting but to be honest the last 3 days have been pretty much uneventful. Day 9 I had a little bit of stomach upset in the am at work, with my stomach growling furiously. I concluded I didn't drink enough water and the lemonade was bothering it. I drank a bottle of water and it helped and within no time it went away. Years ago I had to stop drinking citrus juices because it bothered my stomach. One reason why I doubted if I would be able to do this cleanse. I noticed that since I went to drinking tea 2 x a day and skipping the swf I was getting an upset stomach a few times a day.
On day 10 I went down to 1 tea at night to see if it helped with the stomach upset... it did. BTW the brand I am using is Smooth Move, I've had no problems with it, other than I have gotten to dislike the taste. When I go to work I bring 2 lemonades with me and then add the pepper when I am ready to drink it. Well on this day I forgot the pepper and drank the lemonade without it. Funny but to me it tasted like Pineapple Juice
Today day 11 is pretty much the same.... having about 2 bm's a day no big deal. No detox symptoms still, a little bit of white tongue but I brush it or maybe it would be worse. I seem to have more energy, especially in the afternoon. Still mad at myself because I haven't exercised...I really have to make a commitment to start up again.
So thats about it for the 3 days, I am going for 14 but if I feel like it I may go a few more. I like the way my clothes fit and still have to lose another 30 lbs. I know this isn't a weight loss diet, but I am hoping to jump start to to a healthier way of eating. I bought a Spirooli (spiral slicer) almost got the saladacco but after reading online reviews I got the former. It should be here just in time for me to start eating next week. I can't wait to make zucchini pasta! Tonight I made spaghetti with clam sauce for dh and I was thinking about zucchini pasta and how good I'll bet it is...add some tomatoes, onion, garlic a bit of olive oil, some spices...yum.
I've thought about a raw diet but I think I will go more for a diet of mainly raw fruits and veggies with some whole grains and fish and meats occasionally. I normally eat lots of fruits and veggies and whole wheat anyway so if I can keep away from hot dogs (my downfall) chips and fast foods I'll be happy with that.
Next I'll be thinking about getting a food dehydrator
