Day 5 and Day 6
Day 5 better than Day 6 and some new support from my inlaws which was unexpected.

Day 5: Friday I didn't have any bm until late in the day and then it lasted forever. I was crampy and gassy but then it was over. When my inlaws arrived I knew it would be hard because I would need to sit with them during dinner and I would neeed to explain why I wasn't eating which was a conversation I was nervous about. I made dinner and we sat outside for dinner. I told them I wasn't eating, that I was fasting and that was that. After dinner the wanted to go to the center of town to get ice cream, so we walked and then they all had an icecream. This was SO HARD because I love the ice cream at this place it is so good but I did it. When we got back home we sat out in the garden and discussed the fast, they were very supportive of it and told me they were trying to change their eating habbits because they were aware of some bad ones they had (same as me) of eating when bored. It was a good night overall. I wasn't that hungry and had just a few temptations with the ice cream. I slept well.
Day 6: This day was incredibly hard. I had a bm when I first woke up before the tea and then nothing for the rest of the day. I was so hungry and couldn't quench it even with the lemonade. I put a spoon up to my mouth a few times and then put it down because I have come so far to give up now. It was difficult. I was so glad when my husband got home from work and told him so, it was easier to be controlled with someone here. I started having menstrual blood which is wierd because I havn't had a period since before I got pregnant with my second son. After I had my son, I went on Mirena (IUD) and haven't had a period which my doctor said was normal. My breath is awful, my husband says he can't believe how bad it is at night when we are sleeping. I don't feel I am stinky yet but who knows I can't smell myself though my sense of smell seems a little better. Made it past day 6...yeah for me because it was so hard.
General thoughts: I have been reading more on this site and have come to the realization that I have not been drinking as much lemonade as I am suppose to so beginning today (day 7) I will drink at least 6 10oz glasses or more. I am drinking enough water though. Reading the comments on this site in forums and blogs has been so helpful in not eating when I am so desperate to do so. I am a little weak and tired but can still bike with my kids all over so that is good. I have been reading about the problems some women have been having with Mirena and was actually suprised. I have had no side effects and it has been a smooth ride for me. My sister had it put in because I had such a good time with it and she had headaches, joint pains and bleeding but that went away for her and now she has been fine. (I think I am going to ask her again it it has continued to be a smooth ride after the initial side effects). We both did the three month shot for a while (can't remember what that was called) but we both had major problems with that and went off of it.
