Day 1: It's about damn time...

Last night was my farewell brouhaha with friends from work. I drank too much, smoked too much and ate pizza. Not the ideal way to start a cleanse, I know. But I've wanted to do it for so long and kept coming up with excuses. So - as I have a week off before I begin my next job, I figure this is the best time. Even if I didn't prepare.

The lemonaid stuff isn't too bad. I was surprised. It's a little too sweet but I'm afraid if I take out the maple syrup, I'll be hungry. I'm also making it with a lemonaid maker. THe kind that automatically grinds up lemons. I'm getting more pulp than I ought to but I'm thinking it won't cause any harm.

Had to go on a wild goose chase to find the tea. Even got snippy with the Trader Joes girl when she said they didn't sell it. "Really? That's weird because a lot of my friends have bought it here." Maybe it was just the hangover I was still sporting from the night before.

At the end of the day, I felt fine. Hangover gone. Not hungry Drank the smooth move tea and am going to bed.
