Today's Adventures
Today's Adventures, Tomorrows Goals
Date: 4/5/2007 7:44:23 AM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 2008 times Well, today has been interesting--i have been stressed over school-spring break is next week and I'm looking forward to it. I e-mailed my future-mother-in-law and asked for some advice and some help with the guest list--Rob has mentioned several out of state family that he wants there and I have no clue who they are and what there addresses are. I filled her in about a little of what we are planning (rob bad for waiting til last minute to tell his parents) so I'm trying to keep her up to date. Partially to keep my sanity and keep everything as stress free as possible.
I want family & friends involved but I don't want them "taking over" OUR wedding. They've had or will have there big moment-this is ours. Anyway I don't think I'll have too many problems. I'm thinking about making my own dress-mom made hers and I'm thinking of asking her to show me how to make mine. We definately want to incorporate the fire department into our celebration. Rob has mentioned BBQ for the reception--he has friends that own a BBQ resturaunt.
I just talked to him on the phone-be praying for two families this evening (God knows who they are)- he responded today to a death and a structure fire within our district. I'm sure the families would appreciate any and all prayers. That is one thing that always scares me-receiving a call that Rob has been in a bad accident and didn't make it while in the line of duty as a firefighter. But both of us love our work even if we just volunteer-we are still required to have all the training that a paid firefighter would need to carry out his duty. I know that there are risks in every profession, some more than others.
As far as health goes:
I've done pretty good with staying out of the sugar today (I've had only 2 sodas) I am also using colon hydrotherapy and my face is actually clearing up (I've had bad acne since I was roughly 12) I do need to drink more water-I've cut back on soda but I'm not drinking enough water to keep myself hydrated well.
Tomorrow:
1) continue hydrotherapy
2) continue cutting back on sugar
3) drink more water
