Food is ubiquitous!

Fourth day...Hardest?

So I made it through day four. It wasn't easy though. I've realized easily now that I'm eating how ubiquitous food is! It's very where, it's so much a part of our lives, it's almost ingrained in some way in everything that we do. I can't even count how many times I was offered food today. Breakfast, snacks, drinks, desserts, its almost like we can't be social any more without incorporating food into the mix. This is definitely interesting.

I realized that I'm only craving foods at the times when people are eating. I can go through an entire day with mild hunger but its only when I see others eating that I find myself really wanting to as well. Also, I find my mind playing tricks on me. Telling me that I need to eat or I'll get sick or die. How many cases of death by starvation have you heard about in North America? Anyway, today I decided to renew my committment to this fast and to go over my goals.
