Hello, my name is Desperate
I'm starting a fast and have a few questions.

Not really. My name is Emina and after reading many inspirational stories on this website about successful long-term fasts, I decided to create my own fasting journal in the hopes that I too will be successful. As I'm sure you can imagine, I have had my fair share of food problems over the years, but as of recently, they have escalated into nearly out of control.
In my junoir high years, I began to realize that my body, as sacred as it was to me, was not what I wanted it to be, not what it could be. So, one day, I just stopped eating. Since this is not an eating disorder blog, I won't specify, but I will say that I dropped the weight quickly, then went from that straight into another diet as to not regain the weight I had just put on. Keep in mind I was only 13. From then on, I ate healthy, counted calories, and was extrememly happy. Then I went on a cruise and all my healthy eating habits were shattered. That was about 3 months ago and I can't seem to get back to my happy self. It's either I eat nothing at all, or everything in sight. I have sickly disordered eating and now a plump body, the one I had before this all started. I'm at ground one.
I was diagnosed with binge eating and my weight increased 25 pounds. As I'm sure, not only am i no longer physically where I want to be, my health has probably taken a beating due to hours of stuffing my face with food we as American are so infatuated with.
So, to get my health and my body back, I'ma goin' on a fast! A 30-40 day fast, according to what my body can handle to get my life back. I'm not only doing this for weightloss, but for cleansing and reconnecting with myself- to learn the limits of and getting back in-tune with my own body. So, I'll write in here every day to keep myself on track. I'm so excited. But, before i can start, I'm going to Hawaii, so I'm going to eat extremely healthy to prepare my body for the fast.
Here's the plan: Starting Date: July 8 Ending date: between August 6-16 2-3 juices a day- fruit in the morning, veg in the evening. A few questions that I would be extremely greatful for some answers to:
1) If i'm starting this at 135-140 pounds, how much should I weight at the end of my fast?
2) When i make the juice, do i strain the juice out so i don't drink any of the actual pureed food?
3) How should i break back into eating at the end of my fast? AH! I'm so excited to start this, too bad I have to go to Hawaii.
