My name is Hussniya Jabara.
I’m a Muslim Arab woman from a village in central Israel. I’m best known for having been a Knesset (parliament) member as well as chair of the Department for Middle East Studies at a prestigious Israeli institute. I continue to be active in promoting women’s rights for all women in Israel, whether they are Jewish, Christian or Muslim.

For me, Israel is a land of opportunity.
