Baeball , the sun, the language, the game
How to talk baseball...lol
Date: 6/19/2006 10:41:18 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 1715 times I did a double header yesterday and it was two games in the hot and humid weather. I was first base camera and spent most f the day with the sun beating down on me
I still enjoy baseballbut one gets privy to some great conversation from being next to the visitors dugout and some very foul language.
It is also funny to hear the director complain when one of us does not react to his question fast enough. While he sits in his cool air conditioned room and we are out sweating in the sun.
Anyways, base ball seems to have some interesting terms like " shagging fly balls". A "double header",
on dates one "strikes out" or "scores" or hits a "home run" or says they did not even get to "first base"
and of course in baseball it is legal to "steal"
can u think of more?
Who can answer this trivia
how can one get six base hits in one inning and not score a run?
