30 day fast complete!
Date: 2/14/2006 6:18:48 PM ( 17 y ) ... viewed 2830 times Well, I finished! 5 days ago as a matter of fact, just too busy to come on here to update. Last Thursday was my last day. I felt mixed about ending it because all in all it went pretty smoothly, but i was also very much looking forward to chewing! End result was I felt better than I have in years and I lost 29 lbs. I think I still need to lose about 5-10 more which should be no problem(I hope!)
So since Friday I have been eating very lightly and about 95% organic (thats my new thing). Im not too worried about what I eat just as long as its healthy. Lots of salad and fruit and veggies. So far im not having any trouble sticking to that. My appetite is noticeably lighter which is great but my metabolism is also noticeably slower. I have gained back a couple of pounds already just because i think my body is in storage mode. I have been exercising every day so theres no other reason why i should be gaining back. I dont know any other way to kick start the old metabolism so hopefully that sorts itself out shortly. Next time I fast I probably wont do it 30 days, I think 2-3 weeks would have been long enough. Any how thats it from me. Ill probably pop in now and again to update and I definetly plan on fasting again in Septemer so ill be back then for sure. Take care all and happy fasting!
