My personal journey through fasting.
Embarking a new journey.

I did this through drinking juices and prayer. My goal was to only drink juices for 31 days. I managed to go 21 days surviving only on juice. It was one of the most amazing things I had ever done. My spirit was calm, my body strong, my skin soft, and my mind clear. I was separated from this toxic and polluted modern day way of thinking. Even though I would get tired sooner I still enjoyed a sweaty workout. I felt so empowered. The first few days I thought a lot of food, but never the sugary foods I had onced loved. It was vegetables, fish, brown rice and Thai salads. Unhealthy foods smelled bad to me. I could smell the fat and the sugar in the air. I no longer wanted these foods. Within 15 days I had lost 20 pounds. And most of my clothes were hanging off of me. Somehow I gave in to temptation and ate my first meal of salmon and string beans. I told myself that I would continue my fast, but food tasted so good, I wanted to try everything I had missed, including chocolate. I didn't introduce the right foods slowly so now I want to embark on the journey again. This time I plan to go 21 days surviving only on water. Is it possible, I think so. Jesus survived 40 days in the desert only on water. To prepare for this fast the next 3 days I will only eat fruit and vegetables, as many as I want.
