About being a Citizen Co-Sponsor
As you know, VAWA is set to expire at the end of September. In order to reauthorize it, Senators and Members of Congress have created legislation that must pass both the House of Representatives and the Senate. By becoming a Citizen Co-Sponsor, you will stand with these House and Senate members as they persuade their colleagues to bring VAWA to the floor for a vote to reauthorize this critical act. Amnesty will let your legislators know that you are a VAWA Citizen Co-Sponsor.

This is an important and unique action -- making your private action public, and giving our legislators the backing they need to support VAWA.
