Day 9
Day 9 of the Master Cleanse and I've decided to go for 14 days.

Stupid scale says 161.5 today. But I think that is probably because of the nasty SWF yesterday . More water retention. Oh well!
My energy is way up today. I woke up with thoughts on my mind of doing yoga and going for a bike ride, having forgotten temporarily that I had an appointment today. I will definitely exercise tonight!
I have decided to continue for 14 days total. I feel so good...and of course the prospect of losing more weight is very tempting. I am still not ruling out 21 days...but I'm going to take it a day at a time.
I have a tremendous feeling of mental clarity, comparable to an acid trip. A general feeling of well-being and happiness, a spring in my step so to speak. I drank senna tea last night and although I keep saying I won't do any more SWF's, I reserve the right to change my mind.
I found out today that I can get a coffee colonic from my therapist, so I am going to get that the next time I go. I'm sure my liver could use a little help. I need to order a stupid enema bag so I can do coffee enemas myself.
Um...let's see..that's all. Still nothing but boring goodness going on!!

I was a little more tired than usual today, and had more hunger pangs. My sinuses also feel a bit infected...probably my allergies to cedar and pollen acting up a bit. I will use my neti pot for the rest of the fast - it seems like a good adjunct to the Master Cleanse.
I realized today just how much my yoga practice over the past year has affected me. I believe that much of my ability to make it through this fast this far is due to the lessons I have learned on the mat. I have learned the power of intention, and built strength, focus and determination. I have also built personal integrity. This fast is in alignment with my beliefs and therefore is destined to be succesful for me, and has been an excellent bolster to my confidence in my capabilities.
Did I mention that I kinda felt like I was on acid today?
