Higher Power
in a Pete Townsend song adapted from Meher Baba's Universal Prayer
Date: 7/15/2006 4:46:47 PM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 2109 times Over the years of recovery I've gratefully experienced, I've never found a song that better describes how I perceive my Higher Power than this one, "Parvardigar", which is on Pete Townsend's Who Came First album. It's quite a magnificent song, do listen to it if you have a chance! And now, the lyrics:
