Comfort/Be Self Contained
getting clarity this morning.

Much cause for frettting.
Watchwords today from

Wasn't able to listen to Spirit too closely yesterday.
Went down to buy a new Mac at the Apple Store
but was taken aback with the Immensity of People
and unclarity about what to do with my G4 550
that Crashed the night before the Whole Being Weekend.
I was attempting to upload photos from a CD
of the weekend.
This is the same identical crash that I had
less than 90 days ago. It was called a Directory
problem. I get flashing question marks and the
computer will not boot up.
Cost: Back up recovery about $94.00.
Cost: Repair of Directory problem about $100.00
This G4 550 has a bad hinge.
Clarity this morning:
This is the machine where I installed
a new hard drive less than a year ago.
This is the machine that I added new memory,
about 60 Gilobytes. Quite an investment in an old machine.
Way more stress yesterday than I could deal with
on my first day back from trip. Arrived home late Saturday
night.
Woke up with directive to buy new computer yesterday,
but received a major call from Sanda, co-partner,
that I had to process. Removing Equity conversation/
or me purchase the house.
Ended up O.K. for now, but threw me off for the
morning.
Today Clarities:
1. laundry please now.
2. approach fix of broken water in front.
parts here? New line. Try that first... New line.
3. Remove/cull unnecessary data from External Hard Drive
where Back up was done last time.
4. Take External backup down to Crywolf.
Any warranties on work???? What is wrong with machine.
Do not fix G4 550 now. Just have back up with data
put on external.
Gratitufe: This G4 400 is functional and is allowing me
to Blog. I can do Photoshot here and email if I want.

Drawback: I cannot open my current financial program.
Major Stress # 50345 on a day of yesterday's overwhelm.
Kick in the pants #1:
Even after spending $200.00 less than 60 days ago,
I was not backuped up with some Very Special Data of
photos + ,my financial program.
Stess #50346:
My accountant Lee wants my 06 paperwork by October 1.
Positive: I do have Data for 06 on recent backup from Crywolf
of July 07. It is only the last three months that are gone.
Positive: Discovery; the old PC did allow me to see my
bank statements for the last three months online.
I cannot see those on this mac due to browser problem.
I E will not open that Banking web site.
What next?
stres #50343: Left hand. Arthritis-like pains for over a month.
Appears to be influenced by what I eat. Does not seem too
influenced by typing, or is it?
Later in Morning:
Go to Crywolf.
Can I get into an appointment at Pacific College
for accupuncture later in day...after 5?
Flowers? better to take down there early.
They will wilt.
1-5 Go to take class at North Campus.
Windows XP. This wiill get me a current school
registration for discount on new Mac.
Stress # .....
Crown in mouth...some unusual pain on gum
the last few days...appears better this morning.
Some pain on biting down, nerve. Did it on the eclipse.
Enuf.
Do laundry now.
Loose bowel...

O.K. leak fixed on soaker hose.
It wasn't diffricult.
Water seems to be running O.K.
with some small leaks, not what was major.
Laundry: I am doing it again.
Forgot to put in most of laundry!!!
Waste of cycle.

Backups and Space on External Drive.
This is a Project.
I have two External Hard Drives.
The Lycie,
and Speedano...
Worked first with Lycie..
This is where G4 Back up was placed,
The one I did three months ago.
It is time consuming clearing space.
I discover that the backup was 68 G.
It will take a lot more time to do clear the space.
I erase 21 GB.
Then I shift to the Speedano.
I have some concerns about this one,
It had a repair once.
I delete some AV stuff that is taking up space.
Michael Bedar put a lot of work into this put
he will have to go to the originals. Sorry.
This gives 78 GB and erases quickly.
I am going to put the new backup on the
Speedano.
This will allow me to go ahead and make a purchase.
I can work with the 06 finances if I choose now...
while the New Back Up is being made.
That will take numbers of days.
Then I will transfer.
I did a Daisy Chain between the two external drives.
It works! That shows me I will be able to back up from
one to another.
I would not be having this stress if I had had a current
backup....
Go to Crywolf now.
Turn in, then go take Window class that will let me...
get student discount on new Mac.
Make that purchase...
Get going on Finances...now.
