Haven't made it up to
Mark Victor Hansen's
MEGA Speaking Empire Weekend
in Anaheim, October 20, 21, 22.
Really been in the energy of
this event, using it to get
on track organizing
my Publishing contacts and notebooks
of information gained from Previous MEGA Events.
I organized the Enchanted Garden Campaign
for '06-07, scoping out the various projects
I want to manifest in the next 12 months.
My deepest passion involves bringing out
writing projects that have been on the shelf.
I will begin by bringing out a new Version
of "Rekindling of Faith," a book
that I first produced in 1984.
My friend Diane had been listening over the phone
to these poems and giving feedback. I am excited
by these poems.
I feel ecstatic getting the energy moving.
I can not believe that poems this powerful are not in
circulation in the world.
I left a message for my favorite publisher,
Peter Vegso, head of HCI Communications, saying
I would email him some poems.
I completed a new front cover and back cover
today. I just assembled a mock up three ring binder
that I will have available for sale at the Pacific
Symposium November 2-5.
I quoted Jack Canfield and Mark on the back cover
based on things that have written to me and said to me.
I am wondering if Jack is still up there in Anaheim?
I want to connect with Mark too! I want to show them
what I have created today, and get there Wow!
I rarely have a chance to make contact with them.
Looking over the MEGA Speaker website to see
when Jack is speaking. He spoke on Friday.
I am not sure if he is still on site.
End of the day...after 9 PM.
Did a full day's work...
Began with organizing a whole shelf in my room--
throwing out lots of stuff from previous
Pacific Symposia. Got the Feng SHui Conference
notebooks out of the way. Made space for the
Photography notebooks.
Can I let this go of this journey north?
I called the Ralston's and let them know
I may or may not be there tonight.
I would feel more comfortable calling Naomi,
their daughter, but do not want to call her
on her night out.
Should I go up in the morning?
How about just completing with Peter,
and taking time to assembly all the great
work I did today?
How about the Farmers' Market in the AM?
Do I need that time there to prep for the Symposium?
I feel more energy around going.
I feel more energy around clearing the way
for deeper activity with Mark next year.
I bought 12 notebooks for copies of this book
I want to have out by the Pacific Symposium.
That is one heck of a lot of work to do in one week.
Calling Rebecca for coaching.
She has a friend on site.
"What is my objective in going?"
She asks.
I wonder if I can hold off till next year?
Or maybe...if Jack isn't there,
I am sure I will have a little time with
Mark, and see what I can learn from the author
of "Fred the Mouse."
Here is a cute story from the
MEGA Speakers Website:
http://megaspeakingempire.com/anaheim2006/
“Since Mr. Hansen’s event and my first presentation I have presented a full day workshop on the 6 traits of writing at 15 elementary schools, I was the youngest person to ever present at a Michigan Reading Association state wide conference for teachers, I visited 72 classrooms in the month of March (National Reading Month) to read and talk to kids about writing, I was the keynote presenter at the Youth of Loudon County Writing Contest award ceremony, I have been interviewed on television at least 10 times, interviewed live on the radio over a dozen times and spoken to newspaper reporters live and over the phone more times than I can remember.
In fact I am scheduled to speak at a school every week during the month of March. These schools pay me to come to talk to them and they also buy at least 100 copies of my books to pass out to the students. If I can have at least two and sometimes four speaking engagements per month and still go to school (I’ll be in the 5th grade this year in the public school) you can do it too.”
