Friendship, as Georgia O'Keefe says...is like a flower...we need to nourish it, water it and tend to it in order for it to grow and flourish..
Last week I had a nasty fall from Valour...he bucked when I was in a relaxation state and I was thrown onto hard ground...I lay there a while as he galloped off at a mad pace...not knowing if I was o.k. ...
From that moment on people showed up with kindness...the known and the unknown...someone caught my horse and brought him home... an old Mexican man drove me home in his car...chicken soup...magazines...arnica...wonderful sweet and loving calls...while I lay on my back contemplating the end of a period of my life...enforced seclusion and immobility...am not good with the latter as I am such a physical person...
the upshot was that things fell into perspective...a sort of sorting out period in which I gleaned much information about myself.....I was literally forced to "receive" and it was a new feeling...and obviously something I need to embrace and experience...
This Lunar Eclipse which we celebrate tomorrow is a poweful one. It's focus is on tying up loose ends to create the freedom of a new life (moon conjuncting Uranus in Pisces)...and the 22nd of September with a solar eclipse in Virgo at 29 degrees heralds a new direction to our life.

SEPTEMBER HOROSCOPE

Get ready! On September 7th we experience a lunar eclipse in Pisces. Translated, approximately every six months the Sun, Moon and Earth align in a precise configuration which creates a Full Moon which gives us a heavy dose of „internal‰ medicine. We meet ourselves on the path and have a rare and potent opportunity to graduate to the next level of life experience. During a lunar eclipse, the full Moon gradually dims as it passes through the Earth‚s shadow. Through light being blocked we heavily confront the shadowy parts of our own inner psyche. What needs to be brought to light? With the Full Moon being awakened in the watery Neptunian sign of Pisces we are forced to confront several major issues: illusion - where we are being deceived or may be deceitful - artistry ˆ how we are being creative or non-creative, manipulation ˆare we manipulators or being manipulated, victimization ˆ how we perceive ourselves to be the victim or how victimize those around us, martyrdom ˆ how we allow ourselves to restrict our experience of joy through duty bound sacrifices, and finally, addictive tendencies ˆ to whom or what are we allowing ourselves to be addicted? Concurrent to this eclipse is a conjunction between Uranus and the full Moon in Pisces, both opposing the Sun in Virgo. Get ready to say goodbye to old habits and limiting forms of thought. Embrace change with open arms. The Solar Eclipse on the 22nd kicks us into high gear.
