O.K. O.K.
I SHOULD be working to get the OTA
photos in the mail,
the ones I can't find yet.
I am picking up energy
working with Seed Dreams
and seeing some lovely Heart and Soul
Images from the Natural Product Expo West.
Years ago, Nell Newman, the daughter of Paul
the Philantropist of Organic Candy Bars and
other such things, appeared on the cover
of Delicious Magazine, one of the Publications
put out my my friends at New Hope Natural Media
the producers of this show.
I stood by the blow up and had my picture taken.
Nell was looking over my shoulder.
I had a Seed Dream,
in spite of all the guuk (sp?)
I go through, especially in Winter
that one day I would be on the cover
of Delicious magazine.
So here we are about five or more years
later. I am bringing The Seven Love Cures
to the show. I am collecting candy bars for
a dying friend who likes sweets.
I run into the Newman people in their Aisle
and there is Nell.
This is a Soul inspired woman.
This is a Delcious Living Woman.
This is a Beautiful Woman.
So I am wanting a photo.
She is obliging.
Then I am asking her if she would like
to use The Seven Love Cures as personal notes.
She tells me she does the PR for the company
and spends alot of time sending out Sorry
letters. There are so many people who are asking
for money for good causes.
Aside for all the No's,
there are tons of Yes's too.
The Newmans gave a major contribution
this year to the Organic Farming Research Foundation
http://www.ofrf.org
Nell is firm in her ground.
She tells me that she likes to write notes
on her own kind of paper.
I asked her how often she was in touch
with her mom, Joann Woodword,
another actress I admire.
They talk on a regular basis.
It makes no never mind to me
that Nell Newman doesn't want
to use The Seven Love Cures
for personal notes using a sharpie
on the back to send out Love Cure Post Cards.
I adore this woman, with or without her
using The Seven Love Cures.
Kate, one of her sales managers, is also
sweet, sweeter than the Candy and with less Calories.
Another Sales man, from the food division,
is open to hearing about Joe the Farmer.
They are going local with their food division.
Maybe I can hook something us for Joe
who deeply needs support if this fourth generation
of California farmers--organic food producers--
are going to make it.
The rising costs are phenomenal.
We have no idea the stress our local farmers
have to attempt to stay in business.
Please consider that when you buy,
and go out of your way to buy local.
Enough sales pitch.
Back to basics:
Leslie loves Nell Newman.
Photos soon!
