Hilton goes organic again?
Organic Celebration at the Hilton Anaheim?
Next year during the Natural Product Expo West.
I want to meet with them today, show them
what i did, and plant some seeds for next year...
and I want to get a new Hilton name tag printed.

Did a little photo shoot with Buffy the dog
who is pretty particular at adjusting to new dog food.
I was testing him out on Pet Promise, made by
new friends. Anthony, one of the owners, is also
invested in the Organic Center, the non-profit
that aims to raise our nation from 2% use of organic
to 10% by 2010. So, how are you willing to step up
your use of organic and let others know why this is important?
It starts with each of us.
We are each the missing peace
when it comes to piecing the world together again.
Good to remember our world only knew organic 100 years ago
and so many of the diseases we have today have come up
since we started to mess with the integrity of soil
and soul connection.
So last summer organic food came into the Hilton
San Diego Resort as part of Organic Celebration,
the program that was co-partnered with them.
My local organic food sponsors helped provide lots
of fresh foods that were used by the Hilton chef
in preparing the three lunches we did.
On the day of the opening ceremony--I was leading that--
and pointing to the historic nature of our feng shui gathering--
in another part of the Hilton, a meeting was being held
with State of California officials, and the president of the Hilton
and local San Diego officials. On the morning the Hilton
joined the California state Green Lodging Program.
The state spends 50 million a year in travel and wants
to send that business toward hotels who are going green.
I made lots of friends at the Hilton San Diego Resort.
I made a point of having them make me up a Hilton badge
where the affixed my own name...Leslie, Your Enchanted Gardener.
The badge insert is a bit worn down. I am about to call the
Hilton at the Anaheim Convention Center. I want to meet with
one of the Convention and Meeting Services reps. I wanted to discuss
having another Organic Celebration collaboration with this Hilton
at next years Natural Product Expo West.
