Overdosed America
John Abramson has written an important
book--"Overdosed America." I heard
him speak. He deserves our support for his
mission to give America a medicine that
works.
Date: 11/6/2005 5:44:07 AM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 970 times John Abramson spoke at Pacific Symposium on
Read Science and Real Health Saturday night.
This is a Good Man, a man of ethics of characters
who was born in the celebration following the Holocost.
He spoke of how in those days, there were a lot of good
people who just stood by. He spoke of how in this generation
there is something very, very wrong wrong with our Model of Medicine
that has become a Bio Medicine basically in the hands o Drug companies
who control the research and basically have bought out
any research of merit. He spoke of attending a conference where
M.D.'s go for continuing education each year, and how the Pharma
Tribe has basically owns the largest of these conferences.
John Abramson walked away from his M.D. practice for this reason.
He could not ethically practice a medicine so expensive, and so very,
very, bad for people.
He spoke of his own mind shift. in travels to Costra Rica, he was touched
by a woman, a mother of four little ones, who was basically about to die
because she could not get hospital treatment, so he and some fellow
American Doctors basically put together $160.00 bucks to get her
the treatment that she needed. He then compared the high expense
we pay out for medical treatment today, and calculated the thousands
of lives that could be saved for the same amount of money that
we spend for what we call quality health care. NOT.
John Abramson is a very dedicated, youth filled M.D.
His book "Overdosed of America" needs to be made a best seller.
It needs to be given by us to our own doctors and friends.
I highly recommend this book and the work of this man.
