We see the world through the filters
of our own perception.
See the world "All of One Piece"
and there is more peace, harmony, and beauty everywhere.
There is Natural Disaster.
that hurts human lives.
Liora Leah makes a wonderful point in her
poem from her book "One Year After...and Beyond."
I am sure if you write her, you can get a personal,
signed copy of the wonderful home-produced book..
You can reach her through "Comments" on her
blog).
I am refering to the poem she has reproduced
called, "A Prayer for Rain" on her Spirit Speaks Blog
on http://www.Curezone.com
http://curezone.com/blogs/m.asp?f=356&i=61
She Writes,
"I pray for rain, for a deluge,
to wash the Mother clean from toxins
renewing the Earth's body
just as my body is renewed
Unlike Noah's flood
this rain for which I pray
will not kill and destroy..."
So how do we support the Mother Earth
is releasing toxins and yet prevent the lost of
innocent lives?
How do we downsize natural disaster?
This asks taking personal responsibility.
This asks living less as a natural disaster waiting to happen.
This asks realizing that we each influence
the harmony, beauty, and peace in the world
through our actions. Our actions
create the world right here and now
as the Enchanted Garden.
We are the Voice of the Mother Earth.
We are her Body. We are her Seeds.
We are One with all the other Seeds.
We have implanted within us the chemistry
to leave this world different than the broken world
where we were first birthed. We have a Soul within us
that has enormous Seed Dreams.
Deena Metzger of the Dare' community
and her Shaman friend, Mandaza,
speak of River Sickness.
River Sickness means living our life outside of the flow
of the RIver of Life....that is my interpretation.
We are asked to find a way to live our Seed Dreams.
How do we do take personal responsibility?
Look around at our community of San Diego.
Years ago, we had no health food stores. We had
a very tiny economy of people who made their living through
putting out their shingles.
Living your Seed Dream,
t is not just about making money...it is about finding a way
to earn money in harmony with your Seed Dream.
The world is waiting for you.
It is crying for you.
So how do you learn to Plant Your Dream?
The answer here lies in Plant Parenthood.
Many people imagine that the Way to grow a dream
is based on Goal setting,
or Powering it over with Positive Thinking alone.
Many of us put aside the deep dark richness
that can be mined from the places inside where we do not go.
I sense that the metaphors for personal growth
and success are nature based.
We are each asked to discover the metaphors of nature--
all of them.
If you plant a seed, a literal seed, you will discover
how to plant your dream. You will discover that
each dream takes space and energy to grow.
You will learn lessons about death--there are a lot
of slugs in the world if you do not pay attention
that can eat our blossoms--all in one night!!!
Here is my Enchanted Garden Story:
I once lived in a house that had no place for a garden.
I started to plant in pots. Then I started to dig up the driveway.
I had worms growing everywhere, and the womb of Mother Earth
was getting more and more fertile.
One day, a lovely Goddess moved into my life, who came to
appreciate the space. we broke the rules of the Boxed Dwelling.
This was too much for the landlord.
We were evicted.
Next thing I knew, I was living on 1/3 of an acre--
a place that looks like a jungle of plants waiting love.
I have been here for more than 25 years. We have
a crop of banana's about to ripen growing on our
front yard, I live four blocks from San Diego
State University, and we have banana's , and blackberries,
and aromatics, and oranges.
it all started with Plant Parenthood.
It is the Plants that Reparent us.
So here we are entering a new year of personal growth
by the Enchanted Garden Calendar.
I am asking you each to do 2 things:
1. Please write out your Seed Dream.
What will you be harvesting in your Life one year from Now?
Make an Altar where you empower your dreams.
2. Please, Please, Please...
you are a seed grower by nature.
You don't even have to think about growing seeds.
It goes with the territory of being human...there a lots
of seeds right under your belt.
So please make friends with all the other seeds that Mother Earth
has made for you.
Seeds of lovely foods, sprouts, grains, and fruits.
Start to grow your own food.
Please do this. Just one Plant an Enchanted Gardener does make.
Grow some buckwheat lettuce in a tray.
OR...
Go to your Farmers' Market and buy the most beautiful
Beet you can find. Stick it in a bucket of lovely soil.
Cut off the beat tops. New tops will start growing.
You can eat them, steamed with some lovely Bragg's Olive
Oil and some of Jess Schwartz's Raw Tahini..Living Tree
Community brand is my Favorite.
Use Jean Richardson's Goldmine Brand shoyu
Soy Sauce for some extra taste if you like.
beat greens are full of minerals that every woman needs
and men too!
There are thousands of Seeds you can grow.
Each will help you Re-mem-ber your Wholeness.
They will turn you into an Enchanted Gardener
and next thing you know you will have Goddesses and Godmen
fighting into your beautiful life.
Love from Your Enchanted Gardener,
Leslie
