Camel
This is an amazing day
so far, the second day of
the Ten Days of Awe.
There is a Camel sitting on
edge of the parking lot
of Will Rogers Beach at the foot
of Temescal Canyon.
What would I expect on a day
like this that has been
quite magical and full of
teachings.
Date: 10/6/2005 11:51:06 AM ( 19 y ) ... viewed 1063 times Crossed the sands yesterday
my ancient Essene white robe wet at
the bottom from the sea touching against
my legs. Where am I? What century is this?
What am I learning from the first few day
adventures of the High Holidays that begin
this new Enchanted Garden year as shared by
and named the ten days of Awe.
I am not in my own car.
I left the EG Mobile that parked
in front of Sarina's house.
There is an evening of Love and Magic
on the agenda Wednesday night. I will read
from the Seven Love Cures.
Right now, I am headed for the car of Rachel Leah
with her keys in my hand. My plan is to take my things
out of the truck and then make the connection to Charlotte's
car who is headed back home to Sarina's.
I look up as I approach the parking lot
half ancient, half grounded in the need to make
a Be Here Now connection to get me from one place to another.
There is a Camel,
I mean, an eight-foot high Camel, sitting
up on edge of the parking lot.
How Semetic! How appropriate on this second
day of the Ten Days of Awe. What an Awesome sight!
more to come...

I cannot connect with my Mac G4 that is not
Wireless. Not sure what my plan is...
People say see you at Yom Kippur?
I say, "Maybe."
"Will you be there?"
"Maybe."
I am usually there for more than a dozen years.
She looks unsettled a bit.
"Maybe?"
"Yes, Maybe?"
"Well, if I don't see you next week,
then I will see you next year!"
"Maybe," I say.
"Maybe?" she says.
"Yes, Maybe..."
I am really not sure where I will be,
or until I get my signals.
Been following Spirit the last few days
and watching the Word become Flesh..
what I say happens.

First thoughts of the morning
were that my highest options
were to go to be with Reb Zalman
in the morning way, way, out in the San Fernando
Valley as part of the Makom Or Shalom Community,
and then to be in the afternoon at the beach
at Temescal Canyon for the ceremony called Tashlich
where they toss sins in the ocean of running water.
I have been intent on following Spirit these first days
of the New Year and stepping out with Trust
and Testing that my Needs are being cared for.
