Cleansing Starts Here
I am working to eliminate
the frustration that I am feeling
from being unable to remove
a big mess in our backyard.
Seeing the environment straight
is an important key to following
what my higher mind would like me to do.

Tzi, a mystically minded Orthodox Jew
of 26 is starting is do some cleaning in the backyard
of a pile of old bamboo and broken wood
that are lying as an eyesore where
ten days from now a Jewish Renewal
community will be praying.
I am about to take some overdue bills
out there and start going through them
in his good company.
I am enjoying the bird sounds all over the garden.
I am feeling more inside myself
and feeling less frustration about this pile
of stuff that needs to be off the property.
it is difficult to summon the energy to
do internal cleansing of any sort--
that asks incredible discipline when
our living environment is an eyesore
and physical things are bothering us.
IT is difficult to ask our emotions to cooperate
when we have tons of pressures distracting us
from calm and peace of mind.
I do not imagine there are too many people
who succeed doing cleansing regimens
when just below the surface are emotional
issues that will come roaring out just as
soon as a person really takes a deep rest
as stop addictive patterns that we normally do.
The prerequisites for any kind of successful
cleanse is getting adequate rest.
When we stop the hub hub of racing--
of doing and mental racing--
--these underlying issues
are going to surface.
Set your space. Create a healing nest.
Do some decluttering...
Get your nest in order before you go on
nature's surgery table.
That is what cleansing and fasting is:
it is serious business.
And is it something you can can only do so many times
without taking time to slowly build up your reserves.
This is strong medicine--fasting and cleansing.
This is opening yourself up to the torrents of deep felt
feelings that will ask you to pay attention.
Look around.
How many times have you tried to help yourself
doing the right thing, only to succumb to that cup of
coffee or something else you know is not good for you.
Dr. Jensen built me up for nine months before he
asked me to eliminate.
Make sure your foundation is set in a good way
before you open yourself to the forces that go with
cleansing.
