in Moses, Prophet of the Law,
1951, Lesson 5:
The tradition of the science of the angels
appeared later in many other religions of antiquity,
even in Christianity itself.
Its Basic elements were incorporated in the Kaballah,
the most profound mystical system of the western world,
and into freemasonry which still preserves
a great number of the fundamental symbols and principles
established by Moses.
In Angelogy the forces of nature were divided into the same elements
as appeared on the Tree of Life: sun, air, water, earth, life, joy and the totality
of the forces of nature--the Earthly Mother.
This group of seven was known as the Kinddom of the Earthly Mother.
Moses taught his followers to spend a little time each morning in contemplation
of one of these forces of nature. On each day of the week
they were to commune intuitively with a different one of the seven angels
of the Kingdom of the Earhtly Mother.
In the second group of seven were the angesl of the Heavenly Father,
the powers of man's consciousness corresponding to the forces represented
by the branches of the Tree of Life.
These were the immaterials, imponderable pwers, above time and space,
invisible and dynamic.
These pwers were given the names of love, wisdom, power, creative work,
eternal life, peace and the totality of them all-the Heavenly Father.
Together they constituted the Kingdom of the Heavenly Father.
Each evening the followers of Moses were to commune with one of these
seven powers; a different one of the seven powers of man's consciousness,
corresponding to each evening of the week.
