THE BEGINNING OF THE HARVEST OF ANCIENT WHEAT AT Goddess Fest JUNE 2-4, 2017
The ancient wheat that will begin to be to harvested at Goddess Fest 10-11 Saturday June 3 in ceremony represents s dream come true.
This stand of wheat was planted well before September of last year.
I want to thank David Solomon, Jessica Sanchez and the resident and caretakers of Terra Madre Gardens for the infinite patience in waiting for the crop to come in. I also want to thank Rae Irelan and her staff for making the wise decision and to hold the goddess festival at Terra Madre Gardens. land where I have done ceremony work.
It is auspicious that the harvest begins during this special time of year that is dedicated to the harvest of wheat as recorded in the traditional holiday known as Shavuot, that represents the time in the Jewish and Christian tradition when the 10 Commandments were brought down from the mountain. This holiday represents symbolically a marriage with God.
The weather pattern in San Diego over the last few days has been cloud cover. This is clearly weather that goes with this holiday.
Our climate here is similar to that in Israel when the wheat harvest also is consecrated, at least in the ancient times.
The wheat is also associated with the goddess Demeter. The goddess represents fertility.
This may very well be the largest wheat harvest in Southern Cal of ancient wheat of Khorasan. It was grown out organic non-GMO grain gifted from Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company and KAMUT international.
Thus amazing grain came through the family of my friend Bob Quinn.
The grain is relatively new. Thousands of acres are now growing from a handful of seeds that came to Bob.
Many organic farmers are now earning a livelihood from growing the grain that can be digested well by many people who do not already have a compromised immune system. Modern wheat causes many people digestive difficulties. Modern wheat is harvested with Glysophate and Glysophate is being implicated in cancer causation and autism.
I've long had a dream of growing a healthier pizza; and a healthier Challah for the Jewish people.
Many years ago, The Essene Renaissance pioneer Edmond Bordeaux Szekely grew healthy wheat at his ranch that supported Rancho La Puerta, A destination spa in Tecate Mexico.
I have yet to experience Khorasan wheat be fertile that I've personally grown; however this crop is well-suited to grind and make into dough.
I'm going to call upon, in the spirit of the goddess, that the intended harvest will begin this weekend and end with the scheduled summer solstice gathering that is planned for Terra madre Gardens.
Wheat and grains were primarily planted by women in the ancient times in many cultures.
The goddess Demeter represents fertility. The soil itself represents the womb of the earth. I intend deep healing for all who participate
Since September of last year I was deeply involved in doing ceremony work to end the drought in our lives. My intention through the harvest that will begin Saturday morning is to further continue the ending of drought next winter season.
During the ceremony women and men will repeat words of honoring each other.
I teach that through creating deeper understanding between men and women we are ending the drought.
I sense there will be great power and inspiration in this one hour ceremony where we will shake our seeds, and each be gifted packages of ceremonial wheat to be taken home.
I will also have other seeds to give the promote the National Heirloom Exposition (7th Annual).
During the 1980s I wrote a poem called "my Goddess prayer for you" that came out of deep listening to a former lover. This poem was widely used in women circles.
Over the years, it has been healing for women to recognize that a man could write such words.
I'm hoping that women on the land at the Goddess Fest and men in attendance will support the ceremony that will have long range significance.
Around this time year, I'm always questioning my human capacity to drive my 68 VW van from San Diego to Santa Rosa for the annual National Heirloom Exposition (7th Annual), this year September 5-7, 2017.
Santi Lou, another devotee aiming to preserve our sacred seed heritage Will also be participating in the Goddess Fest.
It's time for each of us to recognize that we can grow some of our own food, and this as I see it is an expression of God and Goddess nature.
I am personally inviting you to attend this ceremony that is between 10 and 11 AM at the Wheat field @terra Madre gardens.
I will also be available to do one on one #Plantyourdream rituals throughout the weekend and relationship counseling.
I'm specifically bringing some of my healing oils and to the gathering and will be looking for women who would like to explore and use some of the new products being produced by the company that creates the natural anti-inflammatory I recommend and use, AminoActiv.

Thank you
I want to harvest some of the wheat that has been growing in Ceremony since we planted it last year. I want to dedicate these seed to greater understanding between men and women. We will give thanks to Demeter, the Goddess of Agriculture, who legend says brought us wheat as well as corn.
Just confirming the wheat is still standing.
Mine at home is ready in part. I imagine yours is too.
Would like you to be with me during this sacred sharing.
We will also share poems of understanding from my series called "Words Men Need to Know and Women Want to Hear."
"My Goddess Prayer For You," is one of these poems that was written years ago and appreciated over the years by many women.
The class is called "Lessons From The Divine Feminine." The poem came from listening to a former lover.
The poem is healing for both women and men.
It means a lot for women to know that a man has written this poem.
