Different foods and supplements that seem to make a difference to me.

I listened to a webinar on healing auto immune disease. One doctor said that the best thing to heal the gut was eating 2 stewed apples a day. It sounded easy and cheap with no side effects. Food as medicine. So I did it for about 21 days. It is one of the best things I've done to heal my gut. It's the pectin in the apple skins that seems to glue shut the leaky gut. I no longer belch and fart constantly and the digestion is smoother.
Core and dice the apples, leave the skins on and cook with about 2 tbsp. of water. Mash with a potato masher until you have chunky applesauce. Very tasty if you use apples that bake well. Add some cinnamon too.
The other supplement that seems to have helped a lot was MSM. It is said to promote detox and makes the lining of the intestines very slippery so parasites can't attach. I know my skin and hair have gotten very shiny and smooth. I continue to take it in an effort to reduce my heavy metals.
Becoming an 80% vegan ( I know that's a contradiction) is also very helpful. Feeling very clean inside, both physically and spiritually. My house smells so much better. I eat well cooked salmon about 1-2 times a week. That is the extent of my non veganism. Otherwise my diet is mostly greens and beans. Lentils and some tofu too. Oatmeal and cashew yogurt with one piece of fruit in the morning.
I am on a strict weight loss diet thru a program called Food Addicts Anonymous. It is a very structured program that follows the AA literature and structure. At last I am successful at weight loss!!
It was highly recommended that I take a multi vitamin. I've been doing so for the last few days and it really is making a difference. I must have been missing a co-factor or two that was keeping me from making a lot of energy. I am no longer asleep on my feet!
So I am taking an extensive list of supplements to get rid of heavy metals but I just wanted to call out a couple of things.
I use MattK3's protocols extensively. It's a large book on file on CZ with the table of contents on approx. page 45. Full of valuable information from a very informed, technically sophisticated victim of parasites. It is a work in progress.
