Leave it to Biotechnology and we will have Big Pharma as the Medicine not only of Today but tomorrow. The potential dangers of this marriage are pointed out in the new Film, "Bought." I need to express my own personal issues now regarding the medicine that I want to pursue on my path of healing as as far as I get on The Enchanted Garden Mobile's Journey To Win Back Our Sacred Seeds
For three years now, I have been been making kidney stones. "My name is Goldman, and I make Kidney stones for a living." was a line that came up last December while in the company of a great story teller Joel Ben Izzy. I have visited the nearby Alvarado Hospital three times. The Nurses are now putting me in the category of a "Frequent Flyer."
One of my dilemma's is that I need to write. Writing for me means sitting in a chair, some of the time, and sitting is not good for my health. It grows kidney stones, I am convinced of that.
Yesterday, I had a very uncomfortable experience with the kidney doctor who has seen more of my insides personally than I have. His bedside manner stresses me. Yesterday, I visited him to get a report of the Ultra Sound, taken the day before.
He reported three kidney stones. I have already gone the way of his procedures. My body does not get good results from what they came Lithotripsy, a procedure that blasts the stones. The last two times, the stones simply reforms, and I am left with months of recovery from the anti-biotic treatments and God Only knows what other medicines I am given while under anesthesia.
Today is July 18, 2015. Life is a story to be told. On this day of tremendous rains I brought to mind Charlotte Tenney, a founder of our Trees for Health Garden in Balboa Park, I am once again wanting to go deeper into the realm of Food and Herbs as Medicine. Charlotte passed away a few days ago. She did all she could to go the natural route and practice the medicine she knew.
The Kidney doctor was upset that in my shock I asked him to repeat the size of the stones. He was short tempered, and said something like, "I already told you three times. Do not ask me again!" I had waited about 45 minutes for him. He had a few minutes for me.
The last time we looked at a kidney stone procedure, he wanted to do something really invasive that involved putting pipes in my back and sucking out the kidney stones or something like that. I do not do well on my back. I chose the lesser procedure. That must have been sometime in February. The stones reformed, but they a different configuration now.
Where is my health headed? I need to pay a visit to the Trees of Health Garden. I need to pray and ask the help of God and Nature.
