Day 20 of 60 day Water Fast
Reaching A Milestone
Date: 6/12/2015 6:44:43 AM ( 9 y ) ... viewed 473 times Last night was the closest I've been to breaking my fast. I was having a day of cravings because at work they had pork pot roast cooking in a crock pot all day. Pork is one of my favorite things and anything in a crock pot!
Since about day 12 of the fast, all I crave is eating vegetables and fruits, especially salads! I can't wait to have a gourmet salad sprinkled with nuts or a shredded homemade cabbage salad. I can't wait to eat those things and drink some homemade watermelon juice or a little pea purée. Oh and cherries and grapes! They are my favorites... But thankfully I stuck it out and it's day 20!!! Today I really see the changes in my body.
I no longer have dry mouth, but my lips are raw and chapped.
My skin is so firm even as I drop weight.
My hands seem wrinklier. Is that a word? My nails are super hard like I've never felt them this strong before.
High energy level.
Fuller hair on eyebrows and top of head bald area is not so visible.
Oh and yesterday I got 6 hrs sleep!! The more I sleep/ rest the more I pee,
I'll probably add more to this later today, since it's only 4:42 AM PST here right now.
Update: My period finally came!! I'm very sleepy today. After work I have three errands to run and then I'm going to bed hopefully until tomorrow. It's really interesting to me that my mouth is no longer dry. I have saliva keeping it lubricated, unlike before my tongue turned pink. Oh I feel more hungry than usual, so I took my vitamins. I realized I hadn't taken any in awhile. I just want to sleep so bad.
